While it's true that the CPC shows a relative edge in popularity among Gen Z men, polling data suggests that this lead is modest—typically in the mid to high single digits over the LPC, depending on the poll and the specific wording or methodology. When factoring in support for the NDP and Green Party, the CPC’s advantage narrows even further amongst this demographic and it can be argued Gen Z men still prefer the center.

By contrast, Gen Z women show a much, much stronger preference for the center parties over the LPC. It's not even close with women.

I have only seen a few polls with the age breakdown. However, even though the lead is narrow, it’s still their bright spot. In general, it’s all gender with a male/female split, but I don’t know whether there’s a big turnout advantage for the genders as a whole.

I just see media making a bit stack out of it, while the data generally suggests that it's a modest lead and that it's not this massive blow out of 20-something men breaking hard to the CPC.
