Publishing Pause (Again)

It turns out that I will need to leave town for a couple of weeks, and there’s a fair amount of things I need to do before I go. As such, I may not be able to get anything out for a short while. I have a couple manuscript sections on the back burner, but I do not want to rush them out.

Although most of my writing has been on the banking side, I need to look at my inflation manuscript again. I have a couple new references to work in, and then I will look to see how the overall text hangs together. Since many of the figures are getting quite dated, I may need to update them and revise the text accordingly. (I prefer to chop off the figures before the publishing date since a book is never going to be reflective of the latest conditions, but many of the charts date from the period before inflation turned lower, and so they might look a bit odd since the text elsewhere refers to inflation rolling over.)
